The CMC Static Jack Plate 5 inch vertical outboard motor extension allows the motor to be mounted 5 inches higher than the standard mounting height on the transom. This vertical motor extension is a must for converting from jet drive to outboard. If you boat in shallow waters only this unit can save your skeg and prop from damage by raising it higher than normal mounting height.<\/h3>\n
