    Why was the Cherry Bomb developed?

    Fishermen and divers needed a reliable marker that would remain in place after setting to mark particular locations. Traditional markers used a fixed sinker line which might either be too short to reach the bottom or might become entangled in the propeller.

    The Cherry Bomb automatically releases the necessary line for the depth and also avoids line entanglement. The marker also needed to be made of durable long-lasting materials for extended product life.

    The Cherry Bomb is made of durable nylon, styrofoam and stainless steel for long life.

    The complete Cherry Bomb Marker Buoy kit includes everything needed to begin using the marker immediately. The Cherry Bomb comes complete with 150 feet of No. 18 braided nylon line, a 3-lb tapered sinker, a basic bright orange marker flag and the Cherry Bomb Buoy body with its patented, self-locking reel for automatic placement at your chosen site.
