Folding Cleats
Our Stainless steel Folding Cleats from Boaters Catalog mount above the deck with studs or nuts and bolts so there are no large holes to drill in your gunwale as with the Pop-Up and Pull-Up style cleats. Simply drill four small holes for the studs and bolt them down from the bottom.
- Mounts on surface of boat. No cut-outs or hole saws required.
- These cleats lock down when not needed, and spring up when release button is pushed in.
- No drain tubes or drain receptacles required. They do not leak into the boat.
- The most simple installation of any retractable cleat in the industry.
- Constructed of marine grade 316 cast S.S. and brightly polished.
- Two styles to choose from: The stud mount (with hidden fasteners) or through bolted (with visible screw holes). Stud length is 1 1/2".
- Great for use on pick-up truck beds as well.
Pop Up Cleat 202
Our Pop Up Cleat 202 from Boaters Catalog pops up at the push of a button - simply push it back down when it’s no longer needed and it locks in the flush position to avoid trip hazards on your gunwales.
In the "up" position, POP-UP® Cleats function exactly like a conventional cleat.
- Available in four sizes: 4 1/2 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch.
- The 6", 8", and 10" 202 Series Cleats are Available with 'No Visible Screw Holes' to be mounted from below with studs.
- Made of marine grade 316 stainless steel.
- Each POP-UP® Cleat is shipped with an aluminum backing plate which also serves as the cut-out template.
- Screws and nuts not included
- Use the supplied backing plate as a template to scribe the outline of the cut-out.
- After cutting out the shape, insert Pop-Up® Cleat into opening and transfer mounting holes from cleat into deck.
- Attach the backing plate and waterproofing cup (if needed) below the deck.

Pull Up Cleat 209
Our Pull Up Cleat 209 from Boaters Catalog have a flat design that keeps you gunwales and bow clean looking. They are ideal for avoiding trip hazards on your boat when they are not in use.
- Sealed base eliminates the need for a waterproofing cup, water can be drained through a fitting at the bottom of the unit.
- Can be converted to a lifting cleat by inserting a connecting rod in the base of the unit and attaching the rod to the bow eye.
- Made of marine grade 316 stainless steel.
- Available in four sizes: 4 1/2", 6", 8" & 10".
- 10" version is available in both through bolt (visible screw holes) and stud-mount (no visible screw holes).
- Each cleat is shipped with a backing plate which also serves as the cut-out template..

Pull Up Lifting Cleat
Our Pull Up Lifting Cleat from Boaters Catalog is flush to the deck or gunwale when not in use to avoid a trip hazard. They are made from stainless steel and will not discolor your boat.
- The Cleat is 6"
- All stainless steel parts; cleat and base are 316, lifting hardware is 304.
- The sling is a solid casting for increased strength.
- Parts may be purchased separately. A cut-out template is supplied.
- Fastens to deck with four #10 screws.
- Each cleat is supplied with a backing plate which also serves as the cut out template. Screws are not included.
- Rod length is 12-inches. Please call for custom lengths.

Slim-Line Cleats
Our Slim-Line Cleats from Boaters Catalog have a sleek, narrow design that allows installation where other flush mounted cleats won’t fit. They are ideal for avoiding trip hazards on your boat when they are not in use.
- Made of marine grade 316 stainless steel
- No separate waterproofing cup is necessary-each cleat can be completely sealed, or can be drained by a 1/2" diameter tube connected directly to the cleat base.
- Easy to pull up - the recess in the base allows the cleat to be grasped quickly and easily.
Wide-Line Cleats
Our Wide-Line Cleats from Boaters Catalog have a sleek, low profile appearance to help avoid trip hazards on your boat from hardware that sticks up when not in use. A large flange helps cover a rough cut-out area.
- Made of 316 cast stainless steel.
- They mount from the bottom via welded stainless steel threaded studs.
Installation: Backing hardware serves as the cut out template and is standard on all models and included with each cleat.
- Each cleat is shipped with a 1/8" thick backing plate which also serves as the cut-out template.
- Drill four holes and saw-cut clearance between the two center holes.
- Insert cleat from the top, and backing plate from the bottom. Secure with lock nuts.
