Frigid-Rigid Freezers and Refrigerators

Specifications:

  • Available online in white only. For custom colors and custom designs please call 1-800-745-0768.
  • Frigid Rigid freezers/refrigerators are available in 9 sizes, so you’re sure to find the right size to meet your needs.
  • Copper refrigeration tubing is wrapped in a continuous length with no solder joints or fittings. This prevents leaking from occurring. The tubing is then bonded and laminated directly to the outside of the interior fiberglass walls with a thermally conductive polymer.
  • Since we do not use cooling plates, our interior surface is smooth, easy to clean, and eliminates any possible damage that can happen with exposed aluminum cooling plates.
  • Frigid Rigid freezers/refrigerators run on 120 Volt AC or 12 Volt DC.
  • Our freezers/refrigerators are designed to conserve power use. The initial electric draw is 4 amps, which lasts less than one second. After the initial start, the freezer draws approximately 2.8 amps AC and 2.5 amps on 12 Volt DC.

About Setback Lids
Frigid-Rigid Ice Chests and Freezers with Set Back Lids are designed so that you can open the ice chest fully without having to move it away from a wall first. The ice chests keep contents cold for days in any type of environment. These ice chests and freezers are built with superior insulation, airtight lids, weatherproof materials, and are tough enough for heavy commercial use. In Frigid-Rigid’s “set back” design, the hinges are mounted, not on the back of the box, but on the top of the box on a specially designed shelf, therefore the hinges are moved forward either 3, 6, or 10 inches according to each ice chest or freezer. This design works especially well when the ice chest or freezer is placed in front of a center console or under a leaning post of a boat and it comes in handy anytime you’ve filled your ice chest or freezer to the brim and need to open it!
