Affordable Aluminum Fender Brackets from Boaters Catalog.
When pilings are not available for mounting fenders, aluminum fender brackets serve as a cost-effective solution. These brackets offer a more visually appealing alternative to installing pilings while providing the necessary protection for your vessel. The standard channel width of 4 inches accommodates 4x4 lumber, and standard sizes include one foot and three feet. Additionally, custom lengths are available. For larger vessels, it is recommended that the fenders do not extend above or below the braces more than 12 inches, unless supported by a bulkhead or lower piling. For mid-sized to smaller vessels, the standard mount should not extend more than 4 feet above or below the mounting point, and additional support may be required.
